"Sunray any chance you can look at a tripping circuit for me?"
"I'm a bit busy but yes I can have a quick look."
He gave the address
"No f*****g was am I going back into that s**thole."
"No mate, didn't you hear?"
"Hear?"
"It was on the news, they both died and the cats started..." (let's just say the cats were hungry)
Expecting to meet the new owner I found the estate agent who had been trying to show prospective buyers round. It has been empty for a couple of years, someone had emptied the place but the smell is bad, worse than I remember it - if that is possible!
I tried a cheap dust mask but of course it made no difference. The 32A RCBO would not reset, in the other boxes it wasn't difficult to see which 6A RCBO had tripped and in record time I disconnected the T&E from the RCBO which allowed the 32A to be reset.
As before dumped the overshoes, gloves and mask in the wheeliebin by the gate plus I added the worn screwdriver and was soon home in the shower. Under 5 minutes in there but that was 10 minutes too long.
The 'asking for offers' price is crazy cheap for such a big property but the stench of the place is unreal... Never never never again, I was reching the whole time I was in there.
