It could be the new norm for a while. We may end up with years long Covid hangover. Tell 'em to make a theme out of it and stop being so daft and get wed.

Tell them to avoid marriage like the (covid) plague.

my Mum and Dad moved there in September 1970 and theres stuff in the loft that they brought with them from the previous house!
I suppose because they’ve been living together for 5 years there’s no rush.
My niece had her wedding booked -it was in April......so that didn't happen.
She has put it off for a year, they decided it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to organise something with so many unknowns due to Covid restrictions.
 
I'm clearing the house at the moment -which is a rather strange feeling.

I always think that this will be the hardest thing when ones parents time comes. There's bound to be things that for one reason or another stop you in your tracks.

Its bad enough clearing out your own stuff sometimes, I was going to throw out a box of letter from when we were living abroad, I thought I would read a couple, first one I pulled out was from my Nan, back they went into the loft
 
No wonder you retired abroad. If I had to guess, I’d say you have little family and even less friends.
