In England costs 234 million a year

The cost of a district general hospital every year

It costs the NHS the sane again due to the time taken to manage the inspections

Trusts and GP practises spend months preparing for msnaging CQC inspections when there time and money would be better spent serving patients

I hear the cry of plagerism from a forum bell ***

Tis not true it is investigative journalism by my good self

:sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky::sneaky:;)

Whats your alternative?

Well thats a good question Imho :sneaky:

What the NHS needs is a slimmed down In dependant safety inspectorate solely focused on anylisjng safety data and responding to serious concerns raised by staff patients etc

And supporting and protecting them to do so SucH a system would have stopped the Rouge quack Ian Patterson and the harms of vavjnal mesh which the current mob of bloated and self protective regulaters failed to do

That's the MHRA numbnuts. So really you want the CQC to do more. Good to know.

Obviously u have not taken. The time to read
Baroness Julia Cumberlege review / report

Numbnuts
Recommendation 6: The MHRA needs substantial revision, particularly in
relation to adverse event reporting and medical device regulation. It needs to
ensure that it engages more with patients and their outcomes. It needs to raise
awareness of its public protection roles and to ensure that patients have an
integral role in its work.
?

Have you read the report? It is 280 ish pages, I've just skimmed the summaries. But the CQC isn't the main agency for overseeing things like virginal mesh. The report does specifically call out the MHRA, who's job it is to regulate devices for its failings.

Theres plenty to whine about with the CQC, but virginal mesh isn't one of them.

Never said that it was Numbnuts

So, in a thread about the CQC, and when asked about what you'd do differently to cut costs in the CQC you post about a failure of a different organisation.

You're not very good at this.
