It was Mrs Motties decision. I’ll blame her if she smells cats wee!

I would assume they've sorted the problem out by now as this was a couple of years back. Hell of a problem, had to paint all walls with oil based zinsser and then repaint with another emulsion, opening windows actually made the problem worse.
I had some non urine issues with their masonry paint supplied by a customer, I'm not a fan.

Ironing board covers go down well:eek:
Err, don't think so.

A belt and a bag. ;)

She doesn't wear belts and has enough bags, (in my opinion but what does that count for? )

Other than HP, what does she like?
Has she been on the tour down South? Perhaps tickets for next year?[/QUOTE]

She knows about the HP studio tour but doesn't fancy going to it. However, she wants to see the stage version of Frozen II because she used to be a lighting designer for top named pop groups such as U2, Phil Collins and a few others so wants to see the lighting set ups for this show after seeing an excerpt of it when it was on Broadway. We were supposed to be going towards the end of this year but it has been set back to next June.
Took her to Cambridge today and she chose some tapestry threads she needs and also bought her a matching necklace for the earrings and a HP silver letter opener topped off with a visit to a local Chinese restaurant for dinner.

Well, I’ve started painting, no smells but it’s looking a little bit Battleship grey! Mrs Mottie is out walking the dog at the moment but I’ve a feeling she’s not going to like it when she gets back. I did see a sign at B&Q Valspar mixing desk saying that if you didn’t like it for whatever reason, you could get a full refund as long as you bought a different colour. Hmmm.....

Actually, it’s looking a bit better as it dries. Not my decision though!

Too dark, try Dulux 'silver quill', nice colour and doesn't smell of cats p1ss.

Could keep one wall in that colour as a 'feature wall'.
She's warming to it. I’ve told her if she’s not happy I’ll do it another colour but that will be it - no third choice colours! I don’t think it looks too bad. Enough for today, Grand Prix is on.

I do hope you are going to touch up under that window cill and around the edges under the radiator?
Otherwise, it looks quite nice.

Of course! That’s just the first coat. I’m going to repaint the skirtings and architraves and the underneath of the cill has got masking tape on it - no paint is actually on the cill!

Some rechargeable batteries for the house phone
Well, that didn’t stop the annoying beeping on the bedroom phone and as the set is getting on a bit, I’ve just ordered a new cordless phone set. Supposedly, this one has a good call blocker on it too.
