Hi,

Just spotted this going on...What are your thoughts?

Crazy paving, existing driveway...These guys are putting down 600*600 porcelain tile on top of the crazy paving using a sand cement wet mortar mix.

No slurry on the back of tile, no slurry when putting down the muck...

But ignoring all that, surely this ain't gonna stand up to cars being driven on it.

Plus they've come up more than an inch from the pavement level, and I see no level in sight.

Looks a mess. Thinking of letting owner know, so they don't proceed to do whole driveway..>!

They look like concrete slabs, not porcelain tiles.
Have you looked at them up close?

When they were tapping them down..sounded like porcelain..delivery from selco..looks.like their 20mm tiles. I'll go in for a closer look later..

Totally depends what owner asked for. Might be the most solid crazy paving in the world and they might not want to park their car on it. Then again...

bit early to declare ‘it looks a mess’ .
however , slightly alarming there’s only a 1200 spirit level no edgers and no string lines anywhere.
