2 tests, both at mobile Alexandra Palace unit. Results back in less than 24 hours. (1st in 16 hours.)
We are testing more than any country in Europe, unfortunately it's always the leftys that shout the loudest.
Nothing will be good enough for them until they are put on permanent furlough with full pensions.
As Sir Trevor Phillips said last month, if you think this country is unfair/racist etc, try living in France, Spain etc....... You'll come running back ASAP.
What other country in the world has been so generous supporting people during the lockdown????
Why don't we look at the positives??????

One of mine has a cough today. The school said keep him off and get him tested ASAP (can’t book a test though), and to send his sister in as usual.

I thought it was good that people are getting it without the death rate increasing?

The death rate is increasing - so are hospital admissions and people on ventilation - its just that the death rate lags behind the number of cases by a few weeks. Also conveniently if you get tested positive you need to have died within 28 days of the first positive test. So on day 29 you die it wasnt due to covid so doesnt get counted as such. ;)

lol.

Germany, France have furlough schemes that support salaries upto £6k per month.

So on the one hand you are unhappy people are on furlough then you are saying its because its the best furlough scheme. Make your mind up.

...We are testing more than any country in Europe...

Do you mean "more tests per day per hundred thousand people?"

No we're not.

Have you been listening to Boris spouting again?

The UK apparently 'has the capacity' to do the most tests, but is strangely unable to use that 'capacity'...

Borisconi and goebbels speak with forked tongues!

A sensible approach I feel? Why do you not think so?

So basically you could be tested for Covid, receive a positive result and then get run over by a bus and STILL be classed as a 'covid' death. On the other hand, my daughters boyfriends grandad died, aged 103 - he was in general poor health, heart and lungs. He was tested twice for Covid while in hospital, both times were negative yet he still had ‘Covid related illness' mentioned on his death certificate. Obviously, he would have been counted as a Covid death. I wonder how many times that situation was duplicated?

We need to know the numbers of who died due to Covid, not who died with or after having Covid.
