They’ll stick out like a sore thumb on the building sites when immigration come a calling so I don’t think we'll be seeing many of them on site.
..and yet you keep on posting.....
I was a foreman on newbuild for a plumbing & Heating firm up to 2010. I’ve never been affected by the influx (other than putting a lot of shocking work right) but I know carpenters who were earning £250/£300 a day on pricework but 2 years later struggling to earn £100 a day.
Free movement had a massive effect of wages in this country.
I do not blame ANYONE who came to this country. I would have done exactly the same if my average monthly wage was £300.00 (Romania circa 2014.) I blame the eu. We have been “levelling” down since free movement. Funny enough, I can’t take on anymore customers now, im at full capacity. Limitless work but it doesn’t appeal to me to put right other peoples work who have now “ gone back home” .

I blame the EU for Cameron's referendum and everything else the UK does.

All it says is the EU has a number of small, poor countries.
well so does the UK. in fact the South East subsidises the rest of the country pretty much
