The best all round meal I have ever eaten (by a mile) was at the Miyako Teppanyaki in Brum.

We are huge fans in the noseall household especially pasta dishes.

I can't get any enthusiasm for pasta dishes. After all, it's only what you put on /in it that makes it worth eating.

A bit like toast - and I agree. Two of the best spaghetti Bolognese dishes I have eaten were in Rome and at Monte Rei golf club (Portugal). Perfetto.

I would hardly say pointless. Although relatively tasteless, bread potatoes pasta and rice are easily the most important foods on the planet.
