A bargain!
I bought a Hungarian deep filled & firm pillow, on 'offer', on the recommendation from sister in law for my neck pain & waking up with migraines. £140 for 1 pillow. It's worse than the one I bought 10 years ago from Morrisons for a tenner which I've washed and washed. It flattened down to nothing instantly.
Got my money back. I can't help but think it's Emperor's new clothes, this Hungarian lark.

Hmm. I’m not so sure. Used it for the first time last night and both me and Mrs Mottie agreed, it was wonderfully warm and just the right weight. We’ve had the old duvet 10 years so if we keep this one for the same time, it only works out at £25 a year (or part year). A small price to pay when you consider you spend a third of your life in your bed. I won’t tell you what we paid for our mattress 6 years ago!

Well, with the Grandson getting bigger, Mrs Mottie is finding it a strain carrying him in his car seat and strapping it in the car when she’s on babysitting duties. Our son has a 360° swivel car seat fitted in their car which is perfect. Well, it should be at £280! Anyway, I’ve bid on eBay, won and collected the same seat for.....£80 and it’s in an immaculate condition. Result. She will be very happy when she comes home later.

I walked up to Roomes stores in Upminster today and treated Mrs Mottie to some Clarins hand cream. £23 but it’ll last her nearly a year. I also bought 7 raffle tickets at a quid each for a makeup hamper with over 500 quids worth of goodies in it. The draw is tomorrow so I’m just waiting for the phone call..........

I bought a very handy gadget thingy from Amazon. Handy for when you chuck out bank statements or anything with your name and address on it to prevent identity theft. Saves mucking about with the shredder. Just roll it a few times across whatever you want protected and job done.
