Piccy sent to me by a mate of mine. His girlfriend's mate had been complaining that her brakes made a "scratchy" noise and the car pulled to one side a bit when braking....

First two were from same model bike, Medley 125's (two bikes, two "normal" services).

Last one was an Aprilia Tuono 1000cc, yes the pad had been run wrong way round!.

Some people just shouldn't own vehicles..

I'd say definitely a froggie.....small Pug 205 (any of them left - brilliant car) or 206?
Thoughts.....didn't they have that horrible Bendix brake with the sliding wedge - that didn't?
John :)

Do you remember the old Austin 1100/1300 callipers with the swinging caliper - the pads were a funny shape from new to account for it!

Don't know what the car was. I'll ask him. But yeah, probably a small "shopping trolley".

Just had another e-mail from my mate. (It was a 206 by the way)!

It's true isn't it? Some people really shouldn't be allowed cars!

Last year, in for an MOT, the inspector showed me the car ahead of mine which had been submitted for an MOT by its owner. A front brake disk had worn so much, that it was no longer attached to the hub. It must have been making a hell of a racket as it was driven along the road.
