What have you been doing today?

All psyched up for extraction, he said he would but because of its position near the sinal cavity there is a slight chance of complications and a trip to hospital, so he put a temporary dressing in, no charge
That sounds a nightmare. I think I’d rather do the CBR service!

Weather forecast for today said sunshine with light winds so got covered up and sprayed the weeds on the drive and car parking area.
Took all PPE off and thoroughly washed hands and face then made 2 coffees. Just sat down to drink and it's throwing it down outside. There were only fluffy white clouds there when I came in!

Don’t worry about it - you’re leaving soon, the weeds can be somebody else’s problem.

Edit: or is it your house you’re talking about?

Oh, bad luck. ☹️

Been looking after my mums dog while she’s in hospital. Been up all night as it was sick at 2.00 4.00 6.00 8.00. Not drinking so worried about dehydration Currently sitting in the vets waiting to be fleeced!

Update: I’m indoors now, left the dog up there to be rehydrated. Might get her back at 8.00 tonight if she picks up, otherwise its an overnight stay........for £460. Fek me, I could’ve had an overnight stay at a nice hotel, a great meal and a bottle of fine wine for me and Mrs Mottie for that money!

Our two Labradors did a few visits and some ear drops for £400+ a few months back, I'm in the wrong job it seems!.

Picked the old jalopy up today, serviced and MOT £180 not bad, got told to drive my car more. Grand total of ~750 miles since May 2019

I suppose it's like the US healthcare situation, now it's mainly insurance based, prices go up, and up.

Well, no surprise - had a call and she’s doing well, she’s hydrated but not interested in eating so they’re keeping her in. For what they’re charging, I hope they settle her down on silk sheets and sing her to sleep with a soothing lullaby.

Of course they will, and gently stroke her head as she drifts off.
