I get the gist of the thread though and I have mentioned such schemes before. May have to wait for a Labour government for stricter tax avoidance measures.

One of my friends is a card - carrying member of the Labour Party (although he thought they were a bit right wing for him lately), but he shocked me with his opinion on the huge salaries of PL players.
He was all for it.

His reasoning being that they spunk most of it anyway, so the money either goes back into the economy, or to the treasury in vat.
He didn't think they hide it under mattresses.
