So, another lockdown.

Yeah.. it kills off the ole codgers. Or a small percentage of them to be more accurate.
Mostly over eighties who are ready for the box anyway.
Very much like seasonal flu.

But lets smash the economy anyway.
The scandemic rolls on.
You are being a bit disrespectful to the families of these people.

A more recent medical article from a trusted source: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(20)30783-0/fulltext

It would appear it's growing increasingly likely that not only is re-infection possible, it results in an even worse response. Whilst the numbers are incredibly low now it's still problematic.
47 million cases of Covid 19 worldwide and you quote a flawed article from the Lancet.
The claim in the Lancet about the bloke in Hong has been debunked.
Is it any wonder the public are losing faith in the so called professionals.

3rd May. Got anything more recent, you know, since they're learning more about this virus as time goes by?
47 million cases of Covid 19 worldwide over 1 million dead.
Have you got anymore recent figures as to the percentage of those deaths that were due to reinfections..

Have you?

Don't bother answering, It's an impossible request, in the UK we're only catching around half the infections (ish). So everyone who is dying could in theory be people catching it for the second time.

Even when people are getting two positive tests after a span of time the testing regime isn't set up to confirm they're two different strains. Relapses and long covid are known to occur, as are reinfection.

Why are you so adamant to downplay this virus/reinfections?
I will never understand this need for people sitting at home to belittle advice, belittle science as they learn about a new virus, belittle the experiences shared by medical staff on 'the front line'.

I bet your mother is proud of her caring, thoughtful and empathetic son...
I just hope she's still around - and doesn't catch covid.

Your claims are anecdotal and not based on science.
I asked you what percentage of Covid fatalities have been due to reinfection ,bearing in mind that this pandemic has been going on for almost a year and over 1 million people have died ,at this point there should figures for the numbers of those who died after being infected a second time.
Stories on twitter about an individuals personal experiences are not scientific.
It isn't me who is belittling medical staff or Science, it is you.

A Lancet link, thanks. It's nice to have real scientific research to back these things up. :)
4 alleged cases out of 47 million worldwide, there are always going to be anomalies, the Lancet gets its information off the internet like most people.
Lazy journalism at its worst.
By the way one of the cases quoted by the Lancet has since been debunked.
