Water getting into car

I don’t know if this is relevant but if you could blank off the air escape flaps in the boot and turn the fan on full, you may pressurise the inside of the car to make your test more viable?

Front scuttle drainage holes blocked?

This could be it / a contributing factor, the scuttle was full of muck including what looked like the top of a can!! how the he'll that got there???

Boot and spare wheel well worth checking too if it has one, water build up can cause condensation in the car.

Thanks but as I said, the boot is bone dry.
