Funny thing is if we flounce out and say WTO terms are fine, we have to abide by regulations, and disputes are judged by a bunch of foreigners.
And should we join any new trade groups such as a revived TTIP, then any decisions about disputes are taken behind closed doors with no public knowledge of why...

The EU dropped this idea because it was undemocratic...

Of course the UK will no doubt jump back in because beggars can't be choosers!

The EU will not negotiate a deal....No surprise there then! GOOD JOB WE LEAVING EU.
yes they will

the EU are offering tariff free access to the single market.....if we play by their rules
their market their rules

Not something remainers deal in .......,. Reality......,,, LOSERS. Lol.

it is brexiteers that dont deal in reality, they spend their time chasing rainbows

"German car industry -they will cave in" -yeah they really are arent they :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

So if brexiteers think the UK is a "sovereign nation"

then presumably the EU as a whole must also be sovereign

in which case the EU are saying: "sorry but you want access to our market, you gotta play by our rules, we is sovereign"

No point in speculating, just wait and see how things turn out.
Anything Boris Johnson says should be taken with a very large pinch of salt.
Deal or no deal, negotiations will continue after January 1st.

Anyone thinking of moving to Iceland had better get their skates on. Im sure I read that they're closing the door to 'foreign' residents on the 31st. Just sayin'

Mrs EU muttered something that could possibly form part of a deal. Free market access both ways as usual but if the UK goes away from the level playing fields they will put a tax on our exports. Unfortunately that isn't exactly what she said but ........................ it sounded much like that.

That would welcome the UK to one aspect of the real world.

Whoops edit - bilateral as well.

Just leaves fishing. One of the most stupid areas. There are many none UK boats that pay license fees but are docked here. Quota's are needed otherwise the sea would be fished out. The quotas must work as otherwise they would be fished out already. It's why they were introduced and way way more fish and shellfish that are caught finish up in the EU anyway. Our lot wouldn't put the money in.

Jd, gally, Ella, noseal , a John , are prime examples why first cousins should not marry, all the middle of the road people should buy shares in Kleenex, tena products and rubber mattress protectors.

And we're saying, if you want access to our waters, you gottla play by our rules.

Anyway, as the reality sinks in they're starting to break ranks, and everyone's p1ssed off with Macron, even, it would appear, the French fishermen.

Looks like he's overplayed his hand.
