Goodbye and good riddance.

Iran doesn't need nukes, just the threat of acquiring them is enough to get what they want.

Good morning bitches good to see there's the usual fighting spirit on here

Watched some of Trumps speech last night fck me i zoned out after 3mins, why didn't he behave like that before, maybe his lawyers are pooping themselves now forcing him to actually show some statesman behaviour and backpaddle all the sh't he peddled.

Lots of people on his pardon list i see including his favourite rap artist Lil Wayne

Then i watched no eyes Biden talk for 3mins and fell asleep... Honestly how long is he gonna last, all of about a year before he goes senile, huh huh who?? what?? Im not sure he had to start talking about the first Black this or that, maybe it's just me i feel it's such bs you have to emphasise the greatness of someone by their colour. (ok here i go one of the most influential people to me is not white but never would i mention their colour and name in the same sentence and it's not obvious by their name either, something like Jack WingWongwoo or whatever).

Didn't look at the links but calling it a Trump deal is probably a bad idea. :) And yes the post is correct Boris is a yes I am for it and I am not for it on this subject for fear of upsetting some other countries.

Behind all of this is Iran just like some others had a revolution that established an entirely different regime to the one the west uses. Then comes if a country gets bombs will they use them. The usual answer to that is MAD as per the west (USA) and Russia. Both of those can use MAD on any country in the world and a fair few have their bombs anyway. Delivery methods too. Then currently counties need nuclear power. Some other than the UK have used it extensively and are reducing it

To replace the one that was installed by the west.

Which country currently relies on pre-emptive strikes more than any other?
These pre-emptive strikes are supposed to be to prevent other nations acquiring nuclear weapons and preventing the MAD scenario. Of course, the prevention of the MAD scenario also perpetuates the military dominance of one nation over others.

To your first point in bold, the answer is because Trump doesn't believe in the sort of consolatory inclusive approach covered by this speech. If some reports are to be believed, he only made this speech and the one after the riots after coming under significant pressure from his daughter and senior aides to do so. He's all about isolationism, creating anger and tension in his base then watching them go 'bang' whilst he stands well back.

To your second point, I'm not sure how the political process works, however I did read that a transfer of power from Biden to Harris half way through his first term is a possibility. Of course this might be complete rubbish!

Only if the POTUS is incapacitated, I believe. I'm not sure if he can simply retire at will.

Edit: It looks like he can.

Thinking back: Nixon resigned, and the VP took over.

When I see Biden speaking he seems more like you might expect an actor in a typical American film to play the president, than an actual real president.

He speaks slow because he has a very bad stutter.
Yes overcame a very bad stutter in his youth. As I touched on earlier, I wouldn't be completely surprised if there's already a penciled-in plan for Harris to replace him before the 4 years are up if need be.
