Doesnt say any such thing.
Neither Churchill or Thatcher can be criticised for any of the things people like Blair and Brown can be criticised for, they were both conviction politicians, and were not in the game just to line there own pockets - John Major wasnt there to pocket line ,but he was indecisive.
Like I said, time will tell, and you cant claim any different.
The only thing I'm annoyed at is that I can no longer say "Gordon Brown has done absolutely nothing for the good of this country"...

I appreciate the reasons why some remember Thatcher with disgust and disdain, however when you say "But what about the unions?" even ardent socialists concede that the unions must shoulder at least SOME of the blame.
I wouldn't say she always made the right choice, but I think her good ones outweigh her bad ones.
It's ironic that the last time we had a PM with balls, it was a girl.

Ellal, you do realise that had Labour been in power when Argentina launched their invasion of a British Sovereignty, The Falkland Islanders would have had no choice but to accept Argentinian rule.
Labour would not have helped in any way whatsoever (unless America had asked them).
Ask any British soldier or Naval rating who took part in the Falklands War and they'll tell you , they were proud to have been a part of it and to have defended the Falklands. And probably would do so again if asked.

And Cameron has the Lib Dems supporting him, 306 + 59 = 366 of 650 seats, looks like a working majority to me. Obviously in your bizarre alternative reality, ive no doubt that 650/2 = more than 366, joe.
Does anyone else find joes arguments bizarre? he makes claims about events that dont bear any resemblance to reality, invents number and sttatistics out the blue with no evidence, and his post abound in bizarre non sequitars and illogical deductions, and sometimes you wonder what reality he's looking at when he posts...................
