EU unhappy with astrazeneca

Hence why ta Battle of Brtain was a the most important and key point of the war
Operation Barbarossa was the key point of WWII. There is nothing in history to dispute it. Nor does it lessen the British contribution to WWII.

In February 1945, when they were confident of an Allied victory, U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Stalin met near Yalta, Crimea, to discuss the reorganization of post-WWII Europe.

If the German's conquered the British Isles there would not have been no Americans, Winston would be in exile in the US, jailed or dead.

The German's would have done all the hard work for the Russians.

Many x German military personnel
Including waffen SS troops went on to fight for the French in indo China Vietnam via the foreign legion

Sort of agreed

it could also be argued that due to the British and Americans a massive German army was tied up in France
Which could have been used against the Russians

so perhaps the Russians should be grateful for that ?

Totally agree.. Hence why our islands standing alone meant so much.

Luckily for the Allied forces a super-massive (three MILLION German troops) army and all their equipment was tied up in Russia.

I have a friend who's a real hard nut and In trouble with the law when he was younger.

He got wind that the Police wanted him, so he left the country and joined the foreign legion.

I'm not sure how long he lasted but he couldn't take it anymore, it was too tough for him.
So he come home and gave himself up to the Police. The Police said '' No we are not looking for you'' He was free to go.

I've stopped a few times at the Polish war memorial off the A40 on the way into London. It was shameful that the Polish RAF squadron, who had the highest kill rate weren't allowed to take part in the VE day flyover. Apparently that was for fear of upsetting the Ruskis.

Yep Poland were treated appallingly

first by the Germans and than the Russians

and abandoned by the allies Britain and the US
