Ok, well according to some sources. Exports down due to disruption following the UKs departure from the EU, imports down due to same and stockpiling in December.
 
Because there are restrictions (non-tariff barriers) to exports from UK to EU, therefore exports are greatly affected. There are no such restrictions for imports to UK as they haven't introduced the checks yet, and have delayed the introduction of checks for a further six months, therefore imports are less affected.
 
Is that down from the previous month or a comparison with previous years?
