A and B sign a legally binding contract.
A decides after a bit that he doesnt like what he agreed to do because he didnt actually read the contract and anyway he had always told everybody that he would never sign it, so he decides to ignore it but demands that B stick to his side of the agreement.
And then you decide that B is being treacherous for not doing that but instead pointing out that A agreed to penalty clauses which would apply if he didnt do what he had agreed to do.
Do you behave like this in real life? Do you make agreements and then break them, and think thats perfectly OK?
Would you have been happy to do work for him if you knew he had a reputation for not paying?
Your views on what counts as trustworthy and honest behaviour, and the standards to which you think this country, one which you profess to be proud of, should aspire, are totally antithetical to us being the respected international power, the maker of amazing trade deals, that you think we are.

Mr Bumbalini has flown in from Canada, where it is not illegal to have cannabis in your suitcase.

i assume that security at the venue is up to snuff and the place had been checked for covert electronic listening devices
