He's obviously under a misapprehension, no-one is asking him for any restitution.
No-one is accusing him of owning any slaves. No-one is claiming to have picked any cotton.
So he's evidently not the best informed. But he is the best at constructing a strawman argument. And he is the best at fooling a lot of gullible people that his argument is sound.
So we find out that what we thought is true: you talk through your arsehole.
Clint never said that.
That picture is from his movie "the mule" and somebody, somewhere used it to make the post on social media more likeable.
The words had been used before and attached to other pictures.
It's very common to use celebrities' pictures to gather attention so to get more likes.
My comment "Clint is always the best" was totally unrelated to that statement.
I know it's an earthquake for your 3 neurons, but that's what you get on Sunday morning.

I never attributed the comment to Clint, you did, when you posted your comment in the thread with Clint pictured saying those words.
So if you think Clint didn't say those words, why did you not say something like, "Clint didn't say those words"?
Instead you said,
