what the same Trump that did a deal with the Taliban

Did Trump do the deal with the Taliban knowing Biden would pull the troops out before all the foreign workers or the Afghans that served our countrys. Did he know that the Afghan army would crumble or the government would flee?

One thing Biden was right about was that; this was never a forever thing. It's the way you go about things that's the key.

You need to stop blaming Trump

The Taliban follow Deobandi Islam. The Afghans follow Deobandi Islam.

The Taliban are made up largely of Afghans.

*The Taliban, or "students" in the Pashto language, emerged in the early 1990s in northern Pakistan* following the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. It is believed that the predominantly Pashtun movement first appeared in religious seminaries - mostly paid for by money from Saudi Arabia - which preached a hardline form of Sunni Islam.

The promise made by the Taliban - in Pashtun areas straddling Pakistan and Afghanistan - was to restore peace and security and enforce their own austere version of Sharia, or Islamic law, once in power.

Pakistan has repeatedly denied that it was the architect of the Taliban enterprise, but there is little doubt that many Afghans who initially joined the movement were educated in madrassas (religious schools) in Pakistan.

It's was the Mujahideen that defeated the Russians. It was the invading Taliban that defeated the Mujahideen.

Thats not true. At all. Look deeper into this.

The Mujahideen name itself refers to "Islamic Fighters/Soldiers of Allah/Those Engaged in military Jihad". The Afghan mujahideen were made up of fighters from around the world, including many from Arab countries during the soviet war, many from Pakistan, some from India etc.

Once the war ended most of these Mujahideen went back home. Sone of the Afghan mujahideen then fought a civil war for power. When the taliban first emerged in 1994 in Kandahar, under Mullah Omar, from AFGHAN madrassas, a number of Afghan Mujahideen units joined forces with them. Then a lot of Pakistani Taliban joined them. By 1996 they swept to power through popular support from the Afghan masses. The rest is history.

Your not exactly contradicting what I say either.

And this is now.

We seem to have a very Great British tradition of treachery to our non white allies.
Not marking commonwealth soldiers graves, ghurkas struggling for residency and leaving our Afghan allies to be slaughtered.
But we’re ok we’ve got sovereignty.

And not wanting those whose lives we put at risk to come here even when without our help they make it out of the mess we created .

They don't need to come to the UK to be refugees.
There are plenty of other states on the borders of their home countries where they could claim refugee status, but by choosing to travel 1000's of miles to the UK, they make themselves economic migrants.

You can't put a price on 'Weatherspoons Sovereignty'.

'Wetherspoons Sovereignty' says it all. A sort of cheapened, simplistic dumbed down notion, that promised much but only resulted in massive headaches.

I've got all the sovereignty I can handle, thanks. We can all cling to that sovereignty as we go under. Getting sovereignty done. (y)
