hi folks, I'm after some recommendations / advice.

basically I'm looking to find out if what i 'm looking for actually exists!

the front door to our house is on the side of the house so to reach our front door you effectively have to walk up a lane between ours & next door

I'd like to fit an exterior, PIR-controlled light, but ideally i'd need the PIR sensor to monitor down the drive & once triggered, the light to shine in the opposite direction to the PIR (I've attached a rough & ready diagram of what i mean if that helps)

so far I've only been able to find lights with an adjustable PIR but with a light that would shine outwards at 90 degrees from the house, which would undoubtedly annoy our neighbours since this would shine in through their side windows!

anyone know of a make/model of light that'll do this?

thanks

ooh now that's a good idea. hadn't thought of that. thanks!

Pir's pick up better when accessed side on, if possible find one with a high range approaching 180 degrees range, some are only 120 degrees but may swivel enough to cover your front aproach but limit aproach from the rear
