I have knocked up a sheet with all the loads will attach here tomorrowHow long will the cable be, from the meter to your outhouse?
And what large electrical loads does your main house have? Electric heaters? Electric shower? Electric cooker? Tumble drier?
You might do better to buy a smallmultifuel stove and shovel five-pound notes into it.
Thankyou kindly here for your advice most appreciated.Heating with electricity is an expensive game. Plus the need for a beefy cable from consumer unit to summer house for any form of instant electric heater.
If you really want a shower out there, cylinder and immersion heater will be the better option for hot water, convector heater for space heating and insulate the hell out of the rooms
No. Useless and expensive.Anyone recommend a small electric combi?
Quooker seem to have built a business on that concept, albeit on a very small scale! No. Useless and expensive.
Attempting to heat water instantly with electricity is futile.
A Quooker is basically a vacuum flask of near-boiling water that's kept hot - it doesn't heat the water instantly.
If you use all of the stored boiling water, you will have to wait until it has heated more.
