Hey guys, im about to build a timber framed garage in one corner of my drive, i plan to clad it with feather edge as i have a stash already, however one long wall will be very close to a fence and totally unseen, it seems a waste to use my precious featheredge so was thinking of cheaper alternatives here as aesthetics aren't really an issue?

can i just use roofing felt? any tips of how to hang it vertically? the build will be 3x2 studs at 400mm centres with 12mm ply sheathing then a breather membrane.

My dad in the past used dpc then put 3 ply felt Don the sides behind the French you couldn't see, seemed to work well.

He nailed it on. And then black jacked over the nails, overlapped the joints and black jacked them also.
