Afternoon Everyone,
We are currently installing a new roof.
The roof tiles being used are Sandtoft Rivius Slate Clay interlocking tiles (minimum pitch specified is 22.5 degrees)
We have now noticed that the pitch of the roof is 18 degrees. Roof construction is 22mm sarking boards, Roofshield, counter battens, tile battens.
Sarking, Roofshield and counter battens have already been fitted.
Does anyone have any experience using these tiles at less than the manufacturers minimum pitch? Or any other tiles at below recommended pitch?
Do you think these would do the job at that pitch? 12 pallets have already been loaded onto the scaffolding….
