Have you missed the fact that there are the record job vacancies because there are not enough skilled workers, since we told all the hard-working, highly skilled well educated, experienced workers to feck off?
And not much good at that either.

Warehosues run by Amazon/Tesco/Asda, etc, etc. A friend of mine catches a bus laid on by one of the big boys and travels a good 25 miles for free to their warehouse.

Trust me they are begging for workers some of them and not sure the ones I've named but there are factories that offer employees rewards if they
bring a friend for an interview and they get a job.
More companies will probably say no jab no job as time goes by. I've heard of one person via the web that has been told that so far. I'd expect more over time. One step up from no sick pay.
They had a prof of human behaviour on today. He reckons some can't be bothered to go get jabbed. Some have questions / need reassurance and then comes the nuts. He sees forcing people as undesirable as it may create more nuts. He sees for the good of the country and each other as an option. Personally as we are forced by law to do a number of things for those reasons I wonder. It seems distance to the places people can be vaccinated at has an effect on uptake. He advises Scotland by the sound of it.
Might be why their messaging appears to be a bit clearer. Trolley can only pontificate. All of them are like that.
When and if this wave dies down it will be interesting to see estimates of how many have caught it this time. One source used is blood donors. Levels low compared with the population as a whole with a rather slow increase. Vaccination dwarfs it.

I guess if I was a spring chicken I may have hesitated re jabs unless my parents were frail or I had that lived close to us.
In the scheme of things jabs are a safer bet but no one should be forced. I am for those refusing the jab to be banned from certain buildings/events just as our good government is hoping to do.
Some countries inc western ones have made the jab mandatory just like some firms in the UK. Their choice I guess.
What makes me laugh is our lot were banging on about the UK people would not obey orders like "China" - look where we are all now and heading, lol

Yes. Just a shame benefits scroungers don't want the jobs, and many are not qualified or experienced to do them. Business and our economy suffer as a result.

You don’t need links and proof and statistics. Look at the change in media coverage in one week, and the government backtracking is almost comical.
