How to adjust a waste pipe hole in brick?

Hi
Drilled a 40mm hole through brick wall for a kitchen sink waste pipe, but wasn't paying proper attention as I was pushing and the slope of the hole is the wrong way (the outside is a few mm higher than the inside!) so water will back up. Any suggestions for how to remedy this? Could I slowly file away at the bottom of the hole from the outside to create the necessary drop? Or are there better/quicker alternatives?

Should be able to sort it by drilling same hole but keep drill on a better angle

whats the difference? water holds in the trap anyway. unless you’ve bored drastically upwards it’ll still drain fine.

Hmm, hadn't thought of it like that. It's a very small incline so I guess in the grand scheme it'll work as you say. That said, the ptrap is easier to remove and clean out than faff around with pipe further down the flow and I suppose I'd like it on a small decline for personal satisfaction!

Get it on a fall and have done with it
On a kitchen sink it will collect enough sediment without helping it with a back fall.

If you can’t drill the fall the correct way, what about hammer and chisel?
