We have Ukrainian men getting their women and children safely to the Polish and other borders, and then going back to fight for their country.

On the other hand have mainly Young refugee men crossing the Channel by boat claiming asylum from war torn countries.
Is it in their culture that the women and children fight for their country?

A) you're assuming that other refugees are fleeing from war. That might not be the case, there's hunger, famine, persecution, lack of prospects, and other issues besides war that causes refugees.
B) Ukraine has invoked martial law, which requires men of the right age to be conscripted, which prevents young men leaving. Other countries, such as Yemen, Sudan, etc, do not have the governmental infrastructure to organise such conscription, nor to prevent others leaving.
C) The war that might be raging in other countries may not be a war that many want to be involved in.
D) Many young men do not have 'families, wives, and children' but they are the last hope for their dependent parents/grandparents, etc, to continue the family name.

You're obviously ignoring many such issues to form your usual bigoted opinion.
A clear case of forming your prejudice then looking for some facts to support it.

A lot of muslim countries don't let females have an education, so only the men can read and write, so they come over to fill out the benefit claim forms.

As I've said so many times before, racists exploit any and every opportunity to spout their inherent racism.

Women and children do come across on boats so the first post is essentially wrong. However there is another aspect one is war the other is aspirations. War makes future uncertain. No jobs, no money and no all sorts so people want to get out. Africa is a typical case. Lines drawn on maps in a country that contained what was essentially tribes.It finishes up with ethnic difficulties between tribes and where resources are can figure as well.

France pulled out of one area very recently. They don't appear to have achieved anything as now it seems a rent an army has moved in. The conflicts when they start never seem to end. Of late it seems IS types are involved. People tend to follow their leaders. Military perform coupes. Dictators get backed by them or one becomes a dictator.

Watching a program on stone age burials I noticed that some got buried in a much grander fashion that needed a fair number of people to construct and with difficulties. Maybe they had the same problem even then.
