do it before Wednesday to get the maximum saving after that date you will get around 1/3 less value per pound after the 54% increase
there is a chance Scottish power won't allow this but nothing to lose

Already discussed in another thread, did you miss it?

And if standard old fashioned meter stick in higher readings online

Those who do not have pre-paid meters should submit their readings on 31 Mar to make sure they only get charged at the current rate, rather than the higher rate from 01 Apr.

Yes, & don't forget to stock up on your white cider while you at it.

It will be going up by 2p a litre before you can say "sober".

He's a complete terwatt.

The majority of people with prepay meters only have them because they struggle to pay their energy costs and typically can only afford to top up when they either get paid or get their benefit transfer. And there that numpty goes, thinking they have hundreds of pounds lying around somewhere to take part in his great money saving event. FFS

Edit: corrected "prepay", from smart. My mistake.

if you get your benefits you will budget as best as you can whether two weekly or four weekly people tend to top up given amounts usually a few days or a weeks worth say £15 average well if you have week3 and week 4s money and know next week your 15 will only buy £10 worth off power wouldnt you be grateful to get £10more electric for the same money??

people dont load the meter up because they have to feed their kids and themselves and budget on a daily basis 4 pints of milk or 2 quid in the meter
