Great news and hats off to the police officers!!!
People must be allowed to demo safely and let the police
do what they need to do.

This is what happen when people like this take the law into their own hands

Praise the police!!!

.
Part of the problem though is the police not moving them on quickly enough when they're causing major disruption.

I'm all for defending our right to protest, we should be thankful we live in a country where you can. However after they've made their point, the police should move in and move them on, quickly!

Back in the 70s a mate was driving out of a night club car park which was full of punters at closing time, he decided to nudge a girl out of the way which was witnessed by a copper, he was done for either careless or dangerous driving, fined & endorsed

I agree, the police were too soft. However, I cannot blame them as it appears the police can't do anything right IE they are either too heavy-handed or too soft.

The police did well, lol.

Again, as per the criminal sentencing thread, we over complicate things like this.

Protest instigated? Check.
Is it causing significant public and/or service industry disruption? Check.
Has it been going on for 30+ minutes? Check.
Step 1, 15 minute warning to move.
Step 2, 10 minute warning to move.
Step 3, 5 minute warning to move.
Step 4, apply water cannon.

I'm too old to be an officer of the law.
If I was 18 again I'd join the police.
by the age of 19 I'd be is fast patrol cars
By the age of 21, I'd be in the armed response unit.
by the age of 23, I'd be a DC
By the age of 24, I'd be a DI
By the age of 25.5, I'd be the chief of police

You'd be living in a safer, fairer London and I'd back my officers 100% re stop and
search, armed response and taking no nonsense from imbeciles. I'd ensure that
the police were 100% professional, fair, polite, firm and had no fear in the appropriate
execution of their lawful duty.

Thanks

How can she be outraged and shocked to be found guilty after...
She admitted a charge of dangerous driving after 'nudging' a protester near M25

If you think you are innocent, you shouldn't enter a guilty plea.

One of the best comments I've seen on this forum since I arrived here earlier this year, fact!!!

The police did the right thing but should have banned her for longer.

:) :)

Are you daydreaming again?

Does any one got her phone number? Might be an idea to thank her (not) for her actions. I would like to see the list of people that she says thanked her and selfies taken too. I wonder if the selfies really were because of the big blouse
