IOM TT

As much as it pains me to say this . . . . But it is past the time when the IoM TT should be downgraded to a festival / parade.

I like road racing much more than I like circuit racing & I likes circuit racing more than my missus. All motorsports are dangerous, but the speeds at which the TT is reaching nowadays don't belong on public roads. I put a lot of time & money into motorcycle racing but it scares me to death should one of the riders be seriously injured or deaded.

what about the National Irish road races. should that be downgraded to?
May be a gay parade or trans parade?

I seem to recall an incident were a horse got onto the circuit during a race ??

Than there was an incident were a telegraph pole got hit and came down ?? The cable going across the circuit ( if I recall correctly )

Nye on decapitated some racer when he hit it ????

Than there are all those who were in motor sport and met there demise via some other accident

Graham hill plane crash

Nicky Haydon car hit him on his push bike

McRae helecopter crash

Mike hail wood car accident

Another TT rider well known
( but forgot his name) helecopter crash

Probably others ???

IOM - home to shady businesses looking for obscurity. I'm pretty sure the Russian £8 million used to phuck-up the UK (Brexit) travelled via the IOM.

Tis about the TT and bike racing

Not some Russian fruit cake

I don't think that some of you have a full understanding of exactly what attracts people to extreme sports & that's OK 'cos you just told the internets that you are far more likely to die in front of your screen than you are in the world outside.

At the peak of his career I asked a top flight motorcycle racer if he was "scared of dying". The room went silent & I instantly realised I had raised the taboo subject. He replied that he didn't fear death, he feared not winning, he feared letting his team down & above all he feared being labelled a failure.

These people need to be protected from themselve's, & from the people that line the track who are just there to witness the death of the gladiator.

To qualify my previous post . . . . When it began to worry me that I am possibly enabling someone to kill themselves by handing them the weapon . . . . I sought out & talked to a very wide band of folk who partake of extreme sports. It was the free climbing, rock face mountaineers who made the best case.

"This close to death, I have never felt so alive".

These folk can be 300ft up a vertical cliff with nowt' but chalk on their fingertips & one mahoosive hard on.

Any one taking part in extreme sports ??

May be motor cycle racing who does not fear or is wary of death or serious injury should not be allowed onto the track

As they are a liability to every one else

Which has nowt to do with motor cycle racing boyo
If I'm not mistaken, the thread title says 'IOM'. A very dodgy Russian beneficiary funnelled dirty money into the Brexit campaign via the IOM. Take it up with Aaron Banks boyo.
