UK ports are threatening the government with legal action if they don’t compensate them for the millions spent building new border facilities - which may never be used. The facilities were designed to carry out post-Brexit physical checks on imports from the EU. As of 1.06 pm UK time some might be interested in HGV median waiting times to get out of UK ports eg
Dover (Dunkirk) 10 hours!!
Portsmouth 23 hours!!
Immingham 40 hours !! (Ashford now risen to 31 hours!!)
Will rise tomorrow with Permanent Operation Brock & TAP already in place
