Dover...

he thought it was going Remain's way..
He freely admits that he didn't expect to win only get a decent number to allow him to carry on and then get another referendum.

In hindsight do many here think maybe your father should have slipped on a condom?
As you’re throwing out questions about my conception to all, I’ll play. In hindsight, who on here thinks ellals mum should have sw……. No, I won’t be so rude to ask such a question. I’ll let you guess.

So what is your opinion about another EU referendum?

Or another Scottish independence referendum?

And given it's desire to remain in the EU an NI reunification referendum?

Do you think with hindsight you shouldn’t have said you were leaving the UK for good and deleting your account on here?
Do you think brexit is working well?

Was the chaos at Dover nothing at all to do with brexit ?

Well I haven’t personally experienced any downsides to it.

Chaos at Dover probably had something to do with - sulking, bitter French on a go-slow causing queues. Still, I suppose it better than them burning our sheep when they’ve got a cob on.

so you dont think its working well
I certainly don’t think it’s working anywhere as bad as you hoped. Getting fed up of repeating myself. It’s a long game. No shortages on my supermarket shelves unlike your hypothetical one.

Why do you think that?

Those who voted to remain in the EU knew that the brown stuff would hit the fan and will continue to do so...

Maybe your accusation is based on the insecurity you now feel?

That you screwed up badly but won't yet admit it!

PS. And you think 'I certainly don’t think it’s working anywhere as bad' is a ringing endorsement of the 'sunny uplands' you promised?

Why won't you say 'it's turned out better than expected'?

Mottie admits Brexit is not working well

Fact is if it wasn't for De Gaulle we would have joined Europe sooner. One old bloke with dated opinions inherited from the Victorian era. An ex Army man.

The was no way France was going to allow the UK to join until they had fully implemented the Common Agricultural Policy, once that was established even De Gaulle was happy to welcome us with open arms, they needed someone to pay for it.

Brexit Britain is now discovering how sh1t this country wouldve been if we hadnt joined

of course the UK played a pivotal role in the creation of the European Union, it was our European Union and the SM was very good for the UK

Hmm...

The CAP was fully implemented in 1962...

When did the UK join the EEC?

And was the UK involved in negotiating reforms of the CAP from 2000 onwards?

How is the replacement funding for UK farmers promised by the brexiteers going btw?

Oh that's right, they now realise they've been shafted!
