Thats it, swerve away. Pretend it didn’t happen. Just one more post Jonny boy and we're on a new page and you can put this all behind you.
And you call others trolls ?

As I said, you dont understand the meaning.

Yay! New page. Well done. Like I said, lets all forget about the posts on the previous page now.

Blimey my neighbour said that there
We’re shortages in a french super market he went into on Friday ???

Apparently the french owner bloke said it was the UKs fault ?

One part of the shop was completely sold out of inflatable rubber boats ??

You should tell them about motties supermarket. None there

Doubt if french ones do either.

But dont let that stop you

Of course they do

Why would my neighbour say so if it was no so ??

They had a section of the shop dedicated to inflatable rubber boats

There was a sign “ inflatable rubber boats”

With a sign underneath saying
“ due to un-precedented demand sold out”

He was looking to buy one

There was even a buy one get one free offer

Did they check his passport and route details and list of passengers ?
Is he part of the smuggling network?

So come on then, what led you to a diy forum in your quest to discuss refugees and have you been on this forum before under a different user name?
To counter the blatant incorrect assertions being bandied about.
If you were browsing a mechanical site and you saw potentially dangerous comments, would you feel obliged to offer your opinion, to counter the potentially dangerous comments?
That is why I initially posted.
I can understand that you may not like that, but as far as I can see, there's nothing wrong with such an approach to the site. Perhaps, if you know better, you could point out such a requirement for me.

After all, a discussion develops better when pluralism is allowed. If you wish to restrict pluralism to a narrow select group, does that mean you wish to disallow parts of the discussion group, especially those opinions with which you disagree?

Let's all forget about the discussion topic and go for personal curiosity.
Anything to divert the discussion away form the topic. Anything on which some can hang an ad hominem attack.

Obviously catering to the typical Brit tourist.

Otherwise it would have said something like: " en raison d'une demande sans précédent, épuisé" or even:
"Për shkak të kërkesës së paprecedentë të ****ur"

;)

Your neighbour evidently keeps you informed of current affairs, global issues, topical debates, etc.

But at least it's closer to the discussion topic.

Ah right. So when you see potentially dangerous comments while browsing the web, you join up to those sites to put people right, do you? Blimey, that must be a full time job. That’ll make an interesting read. Can you tell us what other sites you've done that on - there must be quite a few or is it just this one and the rest of the internet has passed muster?
