Cling to that straw. Have you never made an honest mistaken statement, then later found you got it wrong? They originally claimed there stats confirmed the above, later they realised they were wrong, given the benefit of hindsight, so they reassed their claim - that does not make it a 'lie'.

Im pointing out the glaring point that a virus can burn itself out as the scientists you know the ones you said to follow the science said would happen the same as the far more deadly and contagious spanish flu did
