Nothing bitter, i just wonder why, if Britain is the economic and social sithole you claim, why are so many foriegners risking their lives in small boats to access the benefits of this country.

Covid has currently fallen into the background but has left a backlog in some areas, largely routine. Save The NHS left it capable of doing nothing else. The UK didn't score well on staffing levels or critical car beds etc even before it cropped up. Most countries had staffing shortages but we really did beat them on that.

Other health areas are thinking about strikes. GP's decided a while ago that they were not going to continue working as they did. Frst sign was revolting against sick notes. They just wouldn't fill them in. No interest in providing them for colds etc.

Depress all wage increases that they can - bound to cause problems eventually. The min wage has it's interesting aspects. Make one increase higher than usual.

The original idea of tariff free trade among European countries was a good idea but unfortunately the EU has now morphed into something completely different.
From the earlier days of wine lakes and beef Mountains when the EU had so much food it had to give it away, we are now living in the era of foodbanks and the most vulnerable in society faced with the dilemma of whether to eat or heat.

Please could you explain how membership of the EU prevented UK from training more people to become healthcare professionals.

Greedy rich business owners didn't have to train people when there is an endless supply or labour. NHS just plain lazy.
