Well go on come up with your solution oh hang on us that it

Jeez us wept

The UK will not be rejoining any time soon that’s a dead cert

So looks like you will continue to whinge :ROFLMAO:
Yes, because we (the Remainers) saw Brexit for what it was. So, as you obviously thing it is so good for the country, name 4 things which have brought improvements for the ordinary person, you know like the stuff we were promised immediately after Brexit, like cheaper food, £350million a week more into the NHS, etc. People like me, and msny.more people yhese days, can name what Brexit has screwed up for them - people like you cannot name a single benefit, can you? Because there are none. And we don't need to invoke the name if a deity (or a relative thereof) or blaspheme to strengthen our argument.

It's all plus plus, all these remainers with all this intelligence can't see the obvious.
The Tories were given an 80 seat majority and Boris failed to deliver a real Brexit. Through his own stupidity he let Truss take over only for her to be heaved out for upsetting the globalists only to be replaced by an unelected prime minister even by his own party, with the cherry on the top of Hunt being appointed chancellor.
Result Tories unelectable, then theirs the site of Starmer trying to park his tanks on Tory lawns, lol
Politics is changing in this country and the Tories and labour are busted flushes and we're now in for a bumpy ride as a new party to make headway into the system.
What's not to like?

a real Brexit.

The Brexers refused to say what sort of Brexit they wanted; before, during or after the referendum. And still haven't.

This was so that all the people who wanted anything, could convince themselves they would get what they wanted. Which was impossible

The only thing you voted for was for UK to resign from the EU. Which it has done.

Now, somebody else has to clear up the mess and reduce the damage the Brexers have done to the nation.

You do talk some ******. First port of call would have been to appoint someone with a spine.

Animal welfare standards

And you can gripe complain whinge all
Yer like

We are out of the EU and there is nowt that we or you can do about

People were asked to partake in a democratic vote on the caper

They did and the result was brexit

There is and will be when people vote this current shower out of office in 18 months or so time. Then things can and will change. It's called democracy, fruitbun.

And in any case animal welfare standards isn't something which has improved since we left the EU. The UK had and was allowed to have, higher standards than the EU minimum. That's how the EU works. Same sort of things apply to electrical equipment whete we have a safer system than the EU minimum, but some countries have had to impliment new standards

Ignorance must be bliss for some people

Now name me 4 things we couldn't do.in the EU which we have done and which are an improvement - if you can

Its easy to ask people if they don't like it now and get a favourable response. But if we had a join deal on the table, would we be seeing 70% wanting to vote for it?
I think we would, with both main parties supporting a sensible deal, thats about how many voted to remain in 1975. The downside of the referendum in 2016 was that it didnt allow for a follow up vote on a deal.

Blup

The Brexers would not allow a vote which included knowledge of the effects.

Because they'd lose.

errr hello...the absence of freedom of movement...I no longer have the right to live in spain....if you want to migrate to spain you now need to fulfil the spanish rules on immigration finances and get a visa...1. you can apply for a yearly visa ( apply means does not mean you will get , the current quota is 18,000 for all countries on earth other than the EU.) You have to show private income of 2950 euros per month for a couple and have comprehensive private medical insurance...having had a heart attack that's a no then. After 5 years you can then apply for residency.

Or I could apply for a golden visa - £500,000 investment ( not in own property) and 6k a year.

You can get a Spanish non-lucrative visa on cash in the bank if you don't have sufficient income. Think it's about 27K Euros for single person. Never heard of quotas for Spanish NLV. Or Portugal has a much lower income requirement - think it's somewhere between £7 or £9K p.a..

Know of someone who told the Spanish insurance company they were healthy, even though they had a stroke 2 years earlier. Meant they got the insurance at an affordable price. OK, so they might not have been insured, but having it ticked the box for the NLV. There's always a work around if you set your mind to it. ;)

Never give up hope -

Bit by bit, the wheels are coming off Brexit. Top bod at CBI said on tv we need to look again at Brexit as business desperately needs easier, less restricted trade with EU and freedom to source workers. Even some Tories are coming around to something like a Swiss membership. Someone said that if Doris goes, Brexit goes. Let's hope he was right.

Spain residency for non EU citizens:
  1. employment visas which is one of the safest ways to obtain permanent residency in this country;
  2. student visas based on which foreign students can relocate to Spain temporarily and then permanently;
  3. non-lucrative visas which are available for foreigners seeking to retire to Spain provided that they have sufficient financial means to support themselves;
  4. investment visas which are available foreign entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals immigrating to Spain.
