There must be thousands of companies that I have no relationship with and have never done any work for. Why have none of them paid me £65million?

That would pay for for sbout 2 nhs shifts, based on pre Brexit bus promise

Or some practical help to our friends in Eastern Europe

"PPE Medpro has for months been embroiled in a scandal after reports that lingerie entrepreneur Baroness Michelle Mone lobbied ministers using their personal email addresses to help ensure the company received lucrative government contracts totalling more than £200mn. She has consistently denied having any relationship with the company."

"Late last year, bank documents reported by The Guardian and the FT outlined how at least £65mn in profits from the company were sent to accounts that benefited Mone or her husband, Douglas Barrowman, who had also previously denied involvement with PPE Medpro."

Did you forget the bit where the government is suing the supplier for the full £122 million and a further £11.6 million for storing and disposing of the gowns, plus interest?

No.

But that is a separate aspect to a company paying many millions of pounds to people with whom it has no relationship.

But these allegations are denied by her. if she received payments for favour as a "fixer", which may well come out in the legal proceedings, then she is likely to go to prison along with anyone involved the fixer payment.

I'd be VERY surprised if there was any £money left in the company. Suing is OK if there's a prospect of actually getting the money back . . . .

One would hope the legal team have done their due diligence. First they must win the claim. Its quite possible that the product met the contract while still not being suitable. The NHS are not consumers they do not have "fit for purpose" statutory rights, they must spell out their needs clearly.

I'm not saying they didn't and their claim is weak.. I'm saying they must first win.

Surely the idea is that she has no relationship with this company? In which case the £65million must have been an unsolicited gift? A bit like when a Nigerian prince emails you?
