Need to change my bath, bathroom sink and kitchen sink taps

Is it easy enough to change my kitchen, bathroom sink's and baths taps? How do I do it? Tools- grips and spanner?

Have you got the correct taps to suit the pressure of your system, It may be safer to get a plumber.

I would say you will need a proper box spanner for back nuts on bath and basin looking at state off them.
I would use a bahco type adjustable on connection nuts but if tight some sort of tap spanner may be required.
See you have a basin waste as well they can be very 'interesting ' to do without removing basin and pedestal.
Sink tap just needs correct size box spanner to remove.
Get someone to hold basin & bath taps as you remove them
very easy to spin round and cause damage.

To explain all the possible ins and outs, pitfalls etc that you may come across whilst doing all of this would be a pretty large amount of typing.

The key things are -

Water off

Yup, that should do you.

When redoing the basin taps, the nut on the tap connector at the end of the copper pipe will need to be pulled down fully, you may find the old fibre washer is holding it and it's hard to , it will eventually eventually pull down off on the end of the tap connector. That lets you get to the old washer and remove all the bits before fitting the new one.

Same with the bath tap connectors too.

So, would you recommend removing the pedestal? If so, is it a case of two people? One holding the basin?

Is this adjustable wrench what use to do up and undo the tap's nuts? How does it lock tightly onto the nuts?

The 3 box spanner do the sink tap nut.

If you're still not sure then time to get someone in to do it.

So, do I undo with normal adjustable spanner (nut circled in blue) then push the box spanner (in photo) onto nut (circled red) and undo that, inserting screw driver into box spanners holes?

Yes, normally you wouldn't need to use a screwdriver in the box spanner as the nut will undo by gripping the box spanner tightly, you will probably have to hold the tap whilst undoing.

It is fiddly to get the adjustable spanner onto the lower nut and grip it properly at an angle but with a bit of fiddling you can do it. If all else fails then try the tap spanner but they are fiddly to use properly and get a proper grip if the nut is tight.

Have a suitable length of timber to hand to prop and take the weight of the basin, then you can slide the pedestal out on your own. Just the timber prop in the way, makes for easy access to the taps and drain.
