Are you struggling with what you actually wrote you said people were thieves so you not only dont have a problem with pensioners dying you also want them tagged as thieves . You are one really nice personMore gassy nonsense.

go on then explain what you think happens to terminate a supply in winterMore gassy nonsense.
It's the same due process and outcome no matter what meter is installed.go on then explain what you think happens to terminate a supply in winter
Really ! so you have just confirmed you do not know what is involved turning up at a job with a Bailiff, a warrant , a locksmith and the fitterIt's the same due process and outcome no matter what meter is installed.
keep that shovel of yours for digging holes for shyte pipes oh and mind those servicesIt's the same due process and outcome no matter what meter is installed.
Yes really.Really
cut off really ! as i said you dont know the process so good to see your still calling them thieves are you really a secret tory ?Yes really.
Utilities thieves will be subject to the same due process and eventually cut off, no matter what meter is installed.
If they have made it simpler to actually turn off the electric, then so be it. However the due process leading to that is exactly the same for either meter.yo
as i said you dont know the process
There you go with that comment of stealing again . You dont realise that these meters can be turned into prepayment meters at the press of a button remotely without the need to apply to magistrates courts for warrants and all the associated costs and visits from bailiffs etc . Thus making people pay before using the supply so no further debt is incurred so yes the ability to run up further theft as you call it is stopped purely by them having a smart meterIf they have made it simpler to actually turn off the electric, then so be it. However the due process leading to that is exactly the same for either meter.
You are no more likely to gey cut off for stealing electricity with a smart meter than any other mete
I did realise, and....?You dont realise that these meters can be turned into prepayment meters at the press of a button
Seems like a very good idea for those that struggle to pay after they have used it. But you are digressing. What I said still stands boyo no matter how much waffle you fill the thread with.
The one thing I disagree with, is those having to use pre-pay, being charged more than everyone else.
no digressing at all and as per you just bump your gums for the sake of itI did realise, and....?

You may be shocked to learn that people do actually steal electricity (and gas)"...Electricity theft is the criminal practice of stealing electrical power. The practice of stealing electricity is nearly as old as electricity distribution..."There you go with that comment of stealing again .
no sh@t sherlock it was part of my job to attend jobs and deal with people stealing by, by- passing meters etc etc and deal with it appropriately but this is a hell of a lot different from people being in debt which you seem to think is ok to call the likes of pensioners trying not to die with hypothermia thievesYou may be shocked to learn that people do actually steal electricity (and gas)"...Electricity theft is the criminal practice of stealing electrical power. The practice of stealing electricity is nearly as old as electricity distribution..."
And you are telling me that the fight against these thieves, the same thieves that make my electricity more expensive, has become easier with smart meters?
Hoorah for SM.![]()
