I'm looking to make a very simple desk. Going to buy some legs, and fix a desk on top. Most likely one of those electrical raising legs with a centre beam for support, which makes sagging a non issue.
My thoughts are, buy 18mm thick OSB and screw it onto the legs. Question is, what should I use to fill in the OSB to make it a smooth surface?
Or should I be considering ply, or mdf? Or even a kitchen worktop (I've got one in the shed)?
