PC is doing more harm than good for the people its supposed to protect.

They wouldn't be accused of racism if they did, so would have one weapon in their bow possibly denied to them otherwise to solve the problem.

In an attempt to get on top of the situation and show authority, should the police in Liverpool increase stop and search of every white male aged late teens and above because they potentially fit the profile of a gang member in that area?

It's not always about colour in many cases it's the way you dress.

In my football days we would get pulled by police at away games. We stood out because we was white but more so because we dressed like southerners. Generally smart designer gear.

Liverpool fans would stick out because of their Sergio Tacchini track suits, Perms and a Moustache

Yes and yes? What's up with you, its not about colour ffs, i don't care what colour they are, they're offenders, i wish people would just stop using colour as an excuse or stick or other reason to prevent the underlying driver, protecting the innocent public.

When i was a lad i hung out with some people from a gang, that at times were unpleasant, i noticed quickly i kept getting stopped by the police, searched a few times and a few more, i am not your average british looking male due to my roots, but not once didn't i put it down to anything other than i fitted the profile of the lads i hung out with, it matters not about colour. I stopped hanging out with them and also changed my style and appearance, the police left me alone, simples. The day we cry racism or some sort of unfair bias (when it clearly isn't) which in turns prevents the police doing their job we are undermining them and are ultimately putting the public in danger.

How have you decided they are offenders, by their skin colour?

Since Jamaican gangs took over the drug trade it's generally assumed they're dealing, so anyone stood on a street corner will be suss for a stop-and-search. It's become more complicated since the 90s but a commonly held axiom for police in major cities in the UK.

How many friends 'of colour' do you and your family have? When I say friends, I mean close friends - those that you would go round to their house for a meal or who you would invite round to yours for a meal. Or go out solely socially with and not part of a group. Or go on holiday with. Or who act as godparents to your children or you theirs? I have none. Does that mean I treat them with disdain? Does that make me racist? Should I actively go out and look for some to show political correctness?
