DBs check for Council job offer

I got a DBS (maybe it was CRB) enhanced check years ago for something where there were kids. It took about 6 months. About the same as being 'positively vetted' way back, without the grilling.
The DBS was free, it gets renewed for nowt as well, because they have me down as a volunteer.

Thanks yes would be 36k to 32k. Currently take home 528. Employer contribution to pension is 3%

I only pay 4% pension I think at the moment so in think I'm looking at £50 a week. Would that be out weighed my the council pension. I would be starting at the bottom of the scale the scale is 32 to 35k. Currently on 36

have they gave you a time frame of progression it can be as little as just over 6 months . Work life balance also comes into it not just financial

Maybe more work life balance with the council? No I need to ask that how quick. They did mention some people has gone in to the office after just a couple of years

I spoke to someone about it. He said it used to be you used to have to know someone to get a job at the council. Was that the case at one point?

are these posts actually serious or are you just trolling or really naïve
