Israel will not let them get even close to making a nuclear bomb. Their nuclear sites are already being considered as potential targets in a 'measured' retaliatory response.

Netanyahu has made a career out of claiming that Iranians were on the cusp of producing a nuclear bomb.
The Iranians have gained more by giving the impression that they are considering building a bomb than actually building one.

You also ignore the fact that If Iran starts firing at scale, Israel will respond at scale….I’ve not seen any evidence that Iran has the advanced defence systems like Israel does.

Israel have prepared and invested for this moment for a long time. They have been under threat from day dot.
You assume the long standing persian civilisation isn't capable of investment. Their long-standing-ness must be pure luck? In any case, they have done well to respond and have friends all around them to help. They look the winner to me. It will be interesting to see how long people who rely solely on handouts can last?
