Terrible scenes in Israel at the moment of hamas fighters killing hundreds of civilians, whole families wiped out in their own homes, a dead naked young woman being paraded and groped around the streets, hopefully Israel gets a grip on this and the outcome is massive strikes on those responsible.

The Israel Defense Forces says it is declaring "a state of readiness for war” in response to the surprise attack from Gaza.

The defence minister has approved a call-up for military reservists.

The Israeli military has begun to carry out retaliatory airstrikes in the Gaza Strip and has warned that Hamas will pay a very heavy price.

Mohammed Deif, the leader of the Islamist militant group, said that 5,000 rockets had been fired into Israel early on Saturday to launch what he called “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm”.

“We have already warned the enemy before. The occupation committed hundreds of massacres against civilians. Hundreds of martyrs and wounded died this year due to the crimes of the occupation.

“We announce the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, and we announce that the first strike, which targeted enemy positions, airports, and military fortifications, exceeded 5,000 missiles and shells.”

The fighting on Saturday comes after weeks of growing tensions along Israel’s volatile border with Gaza, and clashes in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. At least 247 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces so far this year, while 32 Israelis and two foreign nationals have been killed in Palestinian attacks.

But if you have 2 million people essentially in a 365 km² concentration camp and illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank along with the killing of Palestinians by settlers, then this will flare up time and time again...

The Palestinians have no hope of a decent life, so no wonder they fight back!

But the worry is that Hezbollah may join in from the north with Iranian support.

And that could start a major regional war just when the west is concentrated on Ukraine...

Could the Chinese then take an opportunity over Taiwan?

Anyone who disagrees with the Islamic ideologies of Hezbollah & Hamas are their enemies, not just Israel. They hate and want to kill us all.
