failing to understand the rules... again.

The most pertinent bit is how the labour acolytes are trying to deflect from the obvious that the labour lot are just as bad if not worse that the Tories.

Comedy gold and are we at 100 days yet?

But did he delay disclosure of the gifts until after the election to avoid political smears, and did the gifts buy influence? Good old Kieth!
It only became a political football after the election.

That is not true.
The labour acolytes were very aware of the 'gifts' received by the Tories, but never made political capital out of it until it became obscene.
The clothing gifts are at the opposite end to obscene.

She excused herself by saying it wasn't as much as the Tories. Then again, Labour's only been in a few months. Give it time.

The fact that "All MP's do it" is not an acceptable reason. None of them should do it.

I think we almost expect a bit of it with The Tories, after all they are capatalists at heart.........or were. However, aren't socialists supposed to be a bit pious and above all this - not in it for money? Or is this just a pretense.......................................and they're just the same old hypocrites they've always been with their snouts right in the trough alongside politicians of every other colour?

Still, it's a bit much to be socialists sitting in judgement and opposition for 14 years - roasting The Tories for every transgression (duck house anyone?) big or small, real or imagined.....................................................then start filling their own dodgy donor supplied trouser pockets as soon as they get a go with the keys to the sweet shop. Hypocrisy runs through socialists like 'Blackpool' through a stick of rock.

The obvious difference is that Tory donors received favours in exchange.
Boris Johnson has admitted receiving a free holiday at a luxurious Spanish villa linked to Zac Goldsmith, the former MP who was given a peerage and job by the prime minister.

Whereas, the donor of Sir Keir's clothes. Waheed Alli, was already a peer, so he couldn't be rewarded with a peerage.
An investigation by the Sunday Times revealed the Labour peer Waheed Alli, Labour’s main fundraiser, gave Starmer nearly £19,000 worth of clothing and glasses this year, and paid for a personal shopper, clothes and alterations for Starmer’s wife, which were not initially declared.

Someone on £91,346 + expenses can't afford clothes
You do love a strawman

Are logical fallacies part of your lawyer training?

It’s not about whether he or she can afford it, it’s about fashion designers and brands looking for opportunities for publicity………very different from the guy who gave Boris £100k for his flat refurb, that’s blatant cash for political influence

Apparently Kieth should have been on today but is running scared of tv interviews at the moment.
No speech due on Tuesday, All of the Tory bleaters can cheer - his popularity figures are down to the same level as Sunak. Maybe even lower.

Man on a mission so not concerned,
