When being interviewed about it, he added that events in his political career had "fried the brains of a lot of people who opposed me and who opposed Brexit" adding: "We all need to get over it and move on."

Just sayin' ;)

Here we go…….

If you are going to get rid of something, have a plan to replace it with something better. Bojo was hopeless and just wanted a power trip.

I notice Boris didn't point out how successful brexit had been. Not a single benefit, just, get over it

Hardly a resounding endorsement

Despite being the U.K.’s most globally important industry, accounting for 12 percent of GDP and providing 2.5 million jobs, the finance sector is stuck on the sidelines even as relations with the EU thaw. It should be a perfect opportunity to win better access for the City of London to the EU’s financial industry; since Brexit, the “square mile” has been cut off from the continent almost entirely. Yet the industry didn’t get so much as a mention in the October joint statement from Starmer and von der Leyen, and U.K. and EU finance chiefs haven’t dared raise the topic in recent meetings either.

It’s not the first time the City has been brushed aside in Brexit talks. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who formulated the U.K.’s 2020 Brexit deal, left financial services out of his pact with Brussels...Politico.com ("F**k business" were his exact words, i recall.)

A little girl was leaning into a lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, all under the eyes of her screaming parents:

A biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain, the lion jumps back, letting go of the girl, and the biker brings the girl to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A BBC reporter, Laura Kuenssberg, had watched the whole event.

Laura, addressing the Harley rider says. "Sir, this was the most gallant and bravest thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.”

The Harley rider replies. "Why, it was nothing, really. The lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right.”

Miss Kuenssberg. "Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a BBC journalist, you know and tomorrow's news will run this story. So, what do you do for a living, and what political affiliation do you have?”

The biker replies. "I'm a British Army veteran, a Conservative and I voted for Brexit.”

The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker turns on BBC News to see if it indeed brings news of his actions.

BBC Headline: RIGHT WING UK VETERAN ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH.

And THAT pretty much sums up the BBC's approach to the news these days....

But what you have to realise is that boris relied on imperial sized planks such as mottie to believe his lies...

And that dwindling ((y)) bunch still believe his lies, since not even one brexiteer can come up with a single benefit for the UK after having left the EU...

Still trying to style out your 4”X2” Jewish slur? Everyone knew what you meant when you said it and nobody has ever heard of a plank of wood with that cross section dimensions. A joist or rafter maybe but never a plank. Give up while you’re losing.

it sums up the brainwashed delusion of the people who thanked your post...anything to the left of GBNews is crazy marxism to them, poor lambs

the BBC board of directors is stuffed with Tories, its right wing biased
Laura Kuensseurg is a Tory stooge, has been ever since she started doing wet interviews with Buffoon

It’s a joke you plank.

The BBC is still better respected throughout the world than most news organisations. You will always get the political parties brow beating it to try to influence it. And 14 years of Tory rule has created a bias because the ruling party appoints the senior person. Remember Bojo appointing his mate who allegedly got him a favourable loan ? Don't forget media presence can have massive influence. Thats why AI is having a massive influence moving forward.
