The meter has over cycled in the 10'000 kWh range.
I'm afraid I have no idea how you got to 83241?

Yes, correct, but to submit the reading to an energy supplier, the first zero would need to be included, and the 10th of a unit would be ignored.
amazing - thanks so much, I will never never get it right! I should ready get a smart meter installed - but as it is for the communal hallway can't really bother - and unsure of the benefit for that communal hallway anyway to have smart meter vs that old dial one.
Silly Question - How to read that old fashioned Metter
HNY 2024 ! So we have this meter for our freehold that British Gaz have not checked for ages but sadly i am unsure how to interpret and do a proper readin. Any guidance by any chance please? Many thanks

yes indeed communal hallway from Freehold - yes hence why wanted to double check - do one submission every January now - but i do not trust myself with the reading!
