MAGAs on this forum said: “Trump has distanced himself from Project 2025”

Project 2025 last year, Trump said he had "no idea who is behind" it. He also said he disagreed with some details of the blueprint, calling them "absolutely ridiculous and abysmal."

Trump supporters voted against their own interests

So project 25 mirrored some of trumps publicised policies which he promised to carry out and has done.
Move along nothing to see here

Wtf are you talking about trumps actual policies have been out there for nearly a year . Because project 25 copied some of them doesn't mean they are in cahoots

Immigration - check
Ending DEI - check
Environment - check
Dismantling bureaucracy - check
Department of Govt efficiency - check
Drill baby drill - check

All mentioned or touched on in project 25 but were policy before anyone had heard of project 25.

And he's already delivering, while Europe looks on in awe.

You believe what you want, and are led to.

You always do.

Fear mixed with bemusement is probably more like it.

There will be some fear no doubt, I suspect fear of failure rather than fear of The Donald. Didn't the IMF suggest this week that for the EU to have any meaningful growth it needs to act more like America, something like that, I'll try and find the article.

I don't think it's fear

It is bemusement.

Did you see the Icelandic mp? Edit, danish mp

I've been reading more comments on the Telegraph website, mainly sycophantic towards Trump, but they draw the line at his threats towards Denmark. Many point out that Denmark stood with the USA in Afghanistan and took the heaviest pro rata casualties (something I didn't know). Also, mixed in with the adulation for Trump's deal making skills, somebody pointed that his business deals usually end up going tits up. Which I thought introduced a nice dose of realism.

I saw something similar in the Guardian about EU's lacklustre growth.
